Short Term Accommodation (STA) provides temporary housing and support for individuals with disabilities. This service can be used for respite care, to give carers a break, or for participants to experience a new environment and meet new people.
Our STA services are available to NDIS participants who have STA included in their plan. If you are unsure about your eligibility, our team can help you understand and navigate your NDIS plan.
STA at Star Bright Disability Services includes accommodation, meals, personal care, and access to a range of activities and programs. Our goal is to provide a comfortable and engaging stay tailored to each individual’s needs.
The length of stay can vary depending on your needs and NDIS plan. Stays can range from a few days to several weeks. We work with you to create a plan that fits your requirements.
Yes, all our guests are provided with their own private room to ensure comfort and privacy during their stay.

PERSONAL CARE
When living with a disability, we understand how challenging it can be to get things done. This is even more true for those impacted by varying levels of physical and mental functions. Star Bright Services is well equipped to assist with personal care task ranging from building a daily routine, using the toilet, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene and so much more.
COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION
Our team can help you or your loved one access, engage and stay connected with the local community. We can support you by helping build your social skills, become more involved in a variety of social and community activities, meet new people and establishing friendships, and build lasting relationships.
DAILY LIFE SKILL DEVELOPMENT
Development of daily living and life skills focuses on training and development activities undertaken by the participant or their carer to increase their ability to live as autonomously as possible, including supports that will enhance the ability of the participant to travel and use public transport independently.
TRANSPORT AND TRAVEL ASSISTANCE
We understand how mobility can affect the level of Independence felt by participants when living their day-to-day life. Star Bright Services provides quality transport support with a wheelchair accessible disability van for ease of access and comfort when traveling within the community.
